Re: Your feedback helps us improve

Thanks for your feedback and suggestions. It's always useful to know what aspects of the product turned people off Aerodrums. One major area of improvement with Aerodrums 2 is ease of setup and general user friendliness and that includes replacing the bright light with invisible light.

Re: NVidia 2060 RTX Low framerate

It sounds like your Dell G7 notebook has two graphics cards - an integrated Intel card and an NVIDIA card. By default Windows is probably running Aerodrums using the Intel card, which will be quite weak compared to the NVIDIA card. Could you try to force Windows to use the NVIDIA card when running A...

Re: Aerodrums 2

Sorry again for the inconvenience caused by the reservation payment / Shopify issue.

It's still possible to reserve. The link below will work and you should no longer get an error when trying to pay:

Re: custom drum elements

I'm sorry for the delay in replying and for wasting your time with sox. You were right, I was mistaken that the command I pasted is what we were using. I'm not sure if sox can actually do what you want. In our case, we wrote a separate application that would analyze the .wav file and pick out points...

I'm very sorry about that. We are still trying to get to the bottom of the Shopify issue. I will let you know as soon as we have a solution.

Re: custom drum elements

Aerodrums won't trim silence from the wav files automatically so you'll need to do it yourself. At some point we were using a free tool called SoX to do this: https://sox.sourceforge.net/ From a Windows command line we could trim the silence from the start and end of a wav file by running: sox.exe i...

Re: custom drum elements

What you said about option 2 is correct. However if you have success with this approach and you would like the ability for the softer hits to trigger louder samples (and/or the harder hits to trigger quieter samples) then I'd happy to create an .ele file for you using unreleased tools, if you share ...

Re: custom drum elements

Regarding your first question, the way I would do it is to have two separate hit zones next to each other. Some of the snares in Aerodrums trigger either a normal snare hit or a rimshot hit based on how hard you hit it. That probably doesn't fit your case. Another possibility would to create the dru...

Re: Request for buzz stroke element

I don't know if this is exactly what you're looking for but I had this element lying around that matches the '12in bop snare' element in Aerodrums: https://www.dropbox.com/s/fer1fguvnxt8z ... s.ele?dl=0
