Re: Swindle - Ignition (Brett's Aerodrum Cover)

Very nice! And it looks like it would have been tricky to fit some real drums there ;)

Re: I can't get it to work.

I am sorry about this. From your other posts, the best solution is to download the Mac installer that does not rely on the DVD (second link in the Mac software download page).

The simpler solution in this case is to use the second installer (second link, bigger file).

Re: First Gig with Aerodrums

We haven't reached a conclusion about IR safety, it will take a while because we are not experts on that topic. The batch that is currently in production doesn't have the funnel light guard idea that Jon suggested, the moulds had already been made when the discussion took place. It will be some mont...

Re: AMAZINGINGLY UNBELIEVABLE!!!

Thank you for your enthusiasm! About health implications of air drumming, we haven't been able to test long term effects, since we only started the project 3 years ago. There is no reason to be pessimistic though, because air drumming devices have been around since the 80s (Airdrums, Hitstix) and a ...

Re: Sceptical

Hello, don't worry, Aerodrums was only launched 3 months ago ;) We definitely intend it as a proper musical instrument. For gigging, the main thing to be careful about is the lighting: bright objects/lights near and behind the drummer can throw it off. Jon posted videos of him using Aerodrums in a l...

Re: Aerodrums in Canada

We're committed to making Aerodrums available in Canada. We are in talks with a US distributor who may be interested in listing Aerodrums on ebay.ca. I will update this thread when this, or another arrangement, materializes. We have prioritized Mac and MIDI support and getting the word out, this is ...

Re: Drum sticks

The reflective material used on the balls is 3M Scotchlite™ High Gain Reflective Sheeting, it is made in the US and the 3M reference there is 7610. Unfortunately it is hard to find in affordable small quantities, and it is not possible to find a spray or paint that can replace it. I have sent you a ...

MIDI update

We have released a minor update to fix some MIDI issues, you can get it by running the Aerodrums Updater on Windows, or re-downloading the MIDI update on Mac ( http://aerodrums.com/aerodrums-mac-software-download/ ) Here is what it fixes: -Aerodrums is now more economical when sending Continuous Con...
