Re: Moving the Menu button?

Thanks for the feedback. We will try to improve this soon. One idea we had was to make it possible to reposition the "Menu" button the same way you can reposition drums. In the meantime, assuming you are running the latest version, you can try enable "Stage mode" from the main menu. This will remove...

Re: Recording Menu not seen/MIDI

It sounds like what you're seeing is correct. Can you check if there are any .ael files in the Recordings folder wherever you installed Aerodrums? You need to record something before anything will be listed in the box labelled "Recordings list". Recording isn't automatic. You have to start/stop reco...

Re: Recording Menu not seen/MIDI

Hi, welcome to the forums! I don't quite understand the first issue. To recap: you can record non-MIDI performances within Aerodrums by striking the Record button from the drumming menu. Your recorded performances should then be listed in the listbox you can see if you press the Recordings button fr...

Re: Feature requests

I'm not sure I fully understood. Did you want to route the audio from Aerodrums to another application that expects 48Khz audio or did you just have higher sound quality in mind? We could support 48kHz but since the samples that ship with Aerodrums are sampled at 44.1KHz, we would need to do our own...

Re: New User, Thought about Haptics

Thanks for sharing the idea. It's very interesting, I'll be sure to read the paper. Related to this, we had a very old prototype that mixed early versions of Aered and Aerodrums technology. The basic idea was that you were shown sheet music for what you should be playing and what you were actually p...

Re: New User, first impressions

Thanks for the feedback. In the current version of Aerodrums, the foot pieces and the sticks are covered by the warranty. In the next version, damage to the balls at the ends of the sticks will not be covered. Instead we will sell ball replacement kits for no more than $10 and a replacement kit will...

Re: Missing elements / gfx in application window - won't wor

The MIDI devices issue will be fixed in the next software update which will be released in July. We will let you know as soon as we've decided on a date. The same goes for the MIDI mappings. We are currently working on this and our next blog post/video will be about MIDI and using Aerodrums with sof...

Re: Fruity Loops DAW

We haven't tried Aerodrums with Fruity Loops yet but it will probably interest you to know that we're working on some big improvements to our hi-hat logic which we will release in the next software update. The main issue with the current version is that it sends superfluous hi-hat pedal close notes ...
