I presume you are using the "Export wav..." button from the Recordings screen in Aerodrums. If so, this screen has a checkbox labelled "Incl. song". Did you try to select the Garage Band preset in Aerodrums and also tick the 'Hihats: open or closed only' checkbox on the Aerodrums MIDI screen? If it didn't work, can you explain what behaviour you observe when playing the hi-hat?
