Re: Camera light
Hello, thanks for purchasing Aerodrums, don't miss Richard's video about rebound, it will help you make the most of Aerodrums ( http://aerodrums.com/2014/01/aerodrums-air-drumming-and-rebound/ ) The balls work like the reflectors at the back of cars: they reflect light towards where it's coming from...

Re: Low light environment?
Hello, I was hoping too that some of the early users had already experimented enough with gig conditions to post some notes, but it is still early days. We haven't experimented with real gig lighting yet. We plan to, including through giving early users advice and adding features to facilitate it. H...

Re: I love the idea of this, but have some questions.
Hello, you can add elements to your Aerodrums drum kits and place them where you want them. So for example for a double kick set up, starting from one of the preset kits (they all have a bass drum), you would add a bass drum, then place the new pedal for it where you are used to it. Of course it is ...

Re: Custom Samples
Sorry I forgot to answer about the glasses. I wish they were only there for the cool factor, but we include them for eye protection. Even though the light we use is several times less bright than an old 60W bulb, the light can dazzle you if you look at it directly. There are ways to setup your compu...

Re: Custom Samples
Brett, in Aerodrums, like on a real kit, if you hit a drum at two different speeds, it is not only the volume that is different, but also the nature of the sound. If you plan to only use one sample, you don't need to create samples of different volumes from it, just place that sample in a directory ...

Re: Custom Samples
Hello Brett, about custom samples, Aerodrums lets you specify a directory of your own samples to create a new drum or cymbal for your kits. You can compose new drum kits that can contain both drums/cymbals that we provide and some that you added yourself. You specify directories instead of individua...
Re: Flams
Tom, press F with your cursor over the desired note to toggle it to a flam. Sorry it's not well documented in the Aered manual, we'll improve that.

Re: Laptop suggestions
Dear joncfox, thank you for purchasing Aerodrums. In the videos and at NAMM, we used a Dell XPS Studio 16. We have also used a Dell l501x (XPS 15). Those are laptops from 3-4 years ago with moderately good mobile graphics card for the time (one ATI, the other nVIDIA, the manufacturer shouldn't matte...

Re: Aerodrums in Canada
Thank you Goofparade for the tough love from Canada! We've taken your comments about the forum registration question, the current lack of MIDI support, and the details about the Aerodrums sounds on board. We are working hard on the Mac version, MIDI support and availability in Canada. Aerodrums has ...
