Re: The perfect notebook for Aerodrums NextGen

Hi @ll, I have talked to these Da-X guys now. They told me, that they can not provide an appropriate Notebook and low audio latency at a time for using VR. Probably a new Notebook they are going to publish within the next month will be able to satisfy these requirements (Pro Audio Extreme NextGen) B...

Re: Cheap Windows 10 x86 Tablets (Intel Atom)

Is there any news on this topic? I think it is a great idea to imrove the portability of aerodrums.
I am currently thinking about buying a refurbished linx1010 or an 8'' Windows10/Android5.1-Tablet.
Does anyone have any further experience with these cheap Windows 10 tablets?

Sound of the drums

Playing on my custom "Rock-Kit" I discovered that "hitting the drums" in a very soft manner they sound more open and have a longer tone. "Hitting the drums" harder, the sound turns flat, snare changes to rim-shot. I already discovered that I can change the snare drums to a version where I have no ri...

Re: The perfect notebook for Aerodrums NextGen

I would consider only laptops that were made with music in mind. Reason being, they will have a low latency motherboard. Latency isn't advertised by computer makers, so you have to do a big of reading to find out how they perform. Apple MacBook Pro (not sure if the GPU is good enough), or Razer Bla...

Re: Mounting stand for PS3 camera

I use a camera stand from hama (not expensive, some 15 bucks) and used some hot glue to stick the camera to it. As I mainly use Aerodrums at home this is a good solution. If I took my Aerodrums around quite a lot I think the idea with the velcro is a very good one.

The perfect notebook for Aerodrums NextGen

I want to invest money into a new notebook and I was wondering what would be the recommended system preferences so that the next generation of aerodrums (using this VR stuff) works fine.
Can one give any glue about the system preferences yet?

Re: Freedrums = the future for IOS and all other formats.

From my perspective this "Freedrums" posting is really poor. Seems that Aerodrums is doing very good actually. If not there wouldn't be the need for such posts. The Freedrums approach is completely different and I wonder how these guys will solve issues like stopping cymbals, playing rim-shot etc. H...

Jazz brushes or Hot rods

Hi @ll, first of all a big thank you to Richard and Yann, Aerodrums is an awesome product. I really love it. It allows me to practice without disturbing neighbours. And it allso allows me to setup a jam session easily with my friend who plays guitar. Now we are searching for a bass player (Freiburg,...
