Re: What is the max on kit size?

There should be no problem with that laptop, provided it's running Windows Vista, 7 or 8. If you have any issues running Aerodrums on it pm or email me and we'll help.

Re: What is the max on kit size?

Hi, welcome to the forums. There is no limit to how many drums / cymbals you can add to your kit. However, the more you add the more accurate you will need to be to hit them. We have made kits with the exact same elements you listed and there is no issue playing a kit like this.

Re: Request -BFD ECO midi map

Regarding the sensitivity of the snare, the issue here is that the quietest snare hits in BFD are a lot louder than the quietest hits when using the Aerodrums samples. So ghost notes that would be barely audible with the Aerodrums samples are very audible in BFD. To fix this you should increase the ...

Re: Toontrack 2

There shouldn't be any User Presets menu. You should click the button labeled Menu in the top-right corner of the window, and then choose E-Drum -> Manufacturer -> Roland. That's all you need to do. A screenshot of the EZdrummer 2 window would be useful if you can't find that menu item.

Re: Request -BFD ECO midi map

Sorry to hear you're still having trouble with this. One thing to check in the Aerodrums MIDI screen is that the "Continuous MIDI controller to use for hi-hats" option is set to "Foot pedal" and not "Modulation wheel". The foot pedal setting will use CC 4 to send the hi-hat openness information. If ...

Re: Feature requests

Thanks for the feature request. Localization is something we plan to work on in the new year, both for Aerodrums and Aered. As for Aered progress, the Mac version will be released around the end of the year and we will have news of new features soon after.

Re: Request -BFD ECO midi map

Unfortunately we don't currently have access to BFD Eco. However, pages 26 and 27 of the manual (http://www.fxpansion.com/uploadedFiles/BFD_Eco_Manual.pdf) explain how to modify the key map. If a drum/cymbal in BFD is mapped incorrectly, select the drum you want to remap and then drag the articulati...

Re: Feature requests

The current stick length is approximately 411mm (395mm without the ball at the end).

We don't have current plans to offer different sizes. However, Aerodrums comes with a replacement ball kit so you easily adapt your own pair of sticks for use with Aerodrums if you prefer.

Re: Rim-shot

Aerodrums in its current hardware incarnation cannot detect stick orientation so we are not able to trigger rimshots based on hit angle. However, the snare drum can be easily configured to trigger rimshots when the hit speed is above a specified threshold. This works very effectively since generally...
