Re: Cant get Aered to install on my Mac
Hi, there is no installation step. You just run the application. It sounds like you might have dragged the wrong icon into your Applications folder. Can you try this: Double-click on the Aered.dmg file you downloaded. Then inside the window that pops open, double-click on the Aered icon. Does it run...

Re: Camera issue
Do any red blobs show up on the drumming screen? It's possible that the lens on your lamp is loose. If you think that's the case, see here for the fix: https://aerodrums.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=37732 If that's not the issue, can you drum ok when you position yourself so that your feet are 1.2...

Re: Is it normal that hitting empty space triggers a drum?
Yes, tanuk is correct. Aerodrums will trigger whichever drum is closest to the stick at the moment you make a hitting gesture. Once you understand this, it shouldn't be a problem, as you generally won't be making hitting gestures unless you intend to hit a drum. That said, Aerodrums 2 has a distance...

Re: Easy mute and unmute
There is an option in the Preferences menu to enable "Stage Mode". when enabled, the Menu button on the drumming screen is hidden and a Mute button is shown instead. This button is placed far to the left so that you don't trigger it unintentionally while playing.

Re: Drum Hit Sensitivity
Ok, I'm not sure why you are seeing this behaviour. I will need to try to reproduce it myself.

Re: Drum Hit Sensitivity
So when triggering drums through your DAW using MIDI only (not using sound from Aerodrums), you set the snare drum MIDI filter slider to the maximum value (100%). But it still triggers unintended snare hits when moving the stick around. Is that correct?

Re: Drum Hit Sensitivity
For the MIDI note filtering slider, the higher the value the more aggressively notes will be filtered out. If you set it to zero then the MIDI note filtering will be effectively disabled. So if you set the snare drum slider to a high value can you confirm that you no longer hear any snare hits? Assu...

Re: Drum Hit Sensitivity
The Drum Hit Sensitivity setting determines the hit speed threshold below which hits won't be heard. It is tricky to do a better with filtering out notes than this because some drummers will want to be able to play very quiet ghost notes and will be able to keep their hand still when not playing. Ge...
