There is support for accents and ghost notes but no support for text-based dynamic markings. You can add these yourself using the text tool but you will be limited to using the built-in font and won't be able to indicate crescendos.

No there isn't. It is not possible to place rests manually in Aered - they are always placed automatically to ensure the notation makes sense. This means that you only need to worry about placing notes and Aered will do the rest (pardon the pun!).
I tried these out and they sound great. I particularly like the toms - a lot more punchy than the ones that ship with Aerodrums. I highly recommend the pack for people looking for a change of sounds.
