Re: Aerodrums has stopped opening!!

I haven't seen this before (without an upgrade from Windows 8 to Windows 10). It could be that a Windows update or another program (the most likely culprit being an anti virus program) had interfered with the Aerodrums files. If this happens again, please write here brefore you re-install and I will...

Re: Aerodrums has stopped opening!!

Hello, I am sorry about this issue. It is quite clear from your message but just to confirm: this is happening on a laptop that had run Aerodrums fine before? If yes, can you think of anything that has changed since the last time it ran successfully? For example plugging in another USB peripheral, l...

Re: Only MIDI Output ports listed for selection as MIDI targ

Ugh, I'm the idiot who wrote the port listing the wrong way around (I was thinking about it from Aerodrums' point of view instead of the program offering the port, which of course is the right way to read "output"). In the main use case we had in mind - virtual MIDI cable to input into a DAW - it wo...

Re: Aero drums with addictive drums 2 issues

Yes, it provides more flexibility at the expense of being a bit cumbersome to adjust for each piece.

Re: Aero drums with addictive drums 2 issues

This could be because you are using a preset drum kit. In this case you need to make a copy first (Drumkits -> Clone).

Re: Software Graphic/Screen Layout

Could you tell me if you closed Aerodrums before changing screen resolution, and restarted it after doing that? If not, could you do this and choose a resolution with over 800 lines, then let me know the outcome? Are you using any windows features to magnify the user interface? If so which ones and ...

Re: Export WAV does nothing??

If you are running version 1.0.22, could you update to version 1.0.23? It fixes a bug that was introduced in version 1.0.22 that affects wav exporting.

If that's not the problem, could you check that you have write permissions in the folder that your select for exporting the .wav files?

Re: Hit zone of single element way too big?

Yes, in your case you can exaggerate the placement of your ride and floor tom: since it is unwanted floor tom hits that are the problem, you need to move the half way point between your ride and your floor tom so that it favors the ride. So while in the "place one drum mode", select each and hit the...

Re: Hit zone of single element way too big?

Hello, in Aerodrums, each drum has a location in 3D space. The drum that triggers is decided by which drum your stick tip is closest to at the instant of the hit. This means that if for example you have only one snare and one floor tom in a right handed drum set, every hit to the left of the middle ...
