Aerodrums and Aered forums

I've made the adjustments needed to be able to hear Spotify at the same time that Aerodrums is running, but I can't really hear what I'm drumming against the music, so how do I make the drums louder than the track I'm trying to play along with?

Thank you for the suggestion. It turned out to be the lamp's reflection in the wardrobe door, which has quite a shiny finish to it. It didn't get picked up when I was setting up the seat position because I didn't switch the lamp on until I was ready to play.

I've positioned my seat so that the drummer drawing is exactly in place and the software reports that the lighting conditions are good. The foot markers both work fine, as does the right hand one, but no way will Aerodrums see my left hand. Well, I can see a white blob where the reflective ball is, ...
