Re: Feature requests

MIDI & System Sounds Mode The metronome and backing track playback, controllable with the sticks, is really useful. Unfortunately if you use Aerodums as a MIDI instrument you lose out on that. It would be great have a mode where the metronome and backing track is played by Aerodrums, MIDI is sent, ...

Re: MIDI Cymbal Choke

I think the 'grab' needs to be timed ideally. Two songs I'm doing a poor job of learning at the moment start with choked cymbals: Jesus of Suburbia by Green Day and Always by Blink 182. On the Green Day track you do four sustained cymbal hits then choke on the next beat, on the Blink 182, grab as fa...

Re: MIDI Cymbal Choke

After a bit more thought, I think my best scenario would look like: - There are various sized cymbal choke kit elements. "10-inch cymbal choke zone, ... ,20-inch cymbal choke zone etc" - These are placed like normal kit elements - They are triggered when a marker moves into their zone, not on a hit ...

Re: Soldering usb led light to ps3 camera

The lamp has a custom glass lens in it so it's probably not that replaceable if you kill it.

The cam and the lamp probably draw quite a bit of power each so I'm not convinced it will work well. Best way to test it before taking things apart would be with a mini USB hub.

Re: MIDI Cymbal Choke

Hi Richard, Thanks for the reply. I'm a beginner drummer but I definitely like the feature and used it when I was playing with Aerodrums' samples; it's essential for some songs. Yes, I think a separate cymbal element could work better in terms of positioning flexibility. What I'm not sure about is a...

MIDI Cymbal Choke

Aerodrums is working great with Superior drummer, but I can't seem to get the cymbal choke zones to send any midi. I'm included to believe it's just not implemented at the moment. Is that right? There's no mention here http://aerodrums.com/manual/#midi-map If not, you can guess the next question :) ...

Re: Feature requests

More control over cymbal choke zones Currently cymbal choke zones move on a fixed arc by adjusting the slider. It would be good to be able to adjust the y-axis position of this arc using another slider to give complete flexibility. (I suppose it may then be necessary to adjust the choke zones one b...

Re: Half part of LEDs on/off?

I have recently had the same problem unfortunately.

It appears to be a bad connection internally in the lamp. I keep meaning to get a photo of it half illuminated so I can send it to Aerodrums support.

Re: MY BROKEN AERODRUMS. HERES HOW TO REPLACE

Good find of the lamp and polystyrene balls.

I'm working on my own infra-red Aerodrums mod, I've been wondering where to get some spare parts.

Re: To everyone that feels aerodrums are a rip off

I agree. Although I think it was really just one person moaning about the price several times, the vast majority of people on here seem to be positive about the product.

It's really a £129 bit of software that comes with free drumsticks, lamp and motion capture markers. :)
