Re: The perfect notebook for Aerodrums NextGen

Nope, but if you're considering them you might want to ask for DPC latency specs, and mention what you'll be doing with it. In a few weeks of testing with my 2015 rMBP (2.8-4.0 i7 quad, integrated Iris 5200 graphics), Aerodrums doesn't perform perfectly. In fact, it can get pretty glitchy when runni...

Re: MIDI note length adjustment

Thanks for the reply. It'd be helpful, but IMO the scripts really do work just fine. :)

Re: High Latency

Just wanted to add to this, as I've troubleshooted several computers for latency in the past. LatencyMon is great, but not compatible with Windows 7. If you're on 7, check out DPC Latency Checker for an accurate readout: http://www.thesycon.de/eng/latency_check.shtml I strongly agree with returning ...

Re: Aero drums with addictive drums 2 issues

Yup, that's what I missed, thank you!

Based on how the manual was written, I assumed "Unintended notes filtering" was a checkbox by that name, rather than an adjustable slider for each drum.

This allows you to change, on a per drum basis, how hard a hit needs to be before a MIDI note will be sent. Thi...

Re: The perfect notebook for Aerodrums NextGen

I would consider only laptops that were made with music in mind. Reason being, they will have a low latency motherboard. Latency isn't advertised by computer makers, so you have to do a big of reading to find out how they perform. Apple MacBook Pro (not sure if the GPU is good enough), or Razer Blad...

MIDI note length adjustment

New Aerodrums user. This product is awesome :) Is there any way to change the length of the MIDI notes? I tried to use Aerodrums with percussive synth patches and that seemed to be the issue. (not able to get much sound out of a synth) Edit: A quantizer script works fine (something that takes the sh...
