Re: custom drum elements

Hi Condordontsurf....hope you are enjoying dabbling with custom samples. After several experiments with midi I have much more enjoyed creating my own custom drum elements. I basically recorded 10-15 different velocity levels of each kit piece using just a single condenser mic into my Tascam recorder...

Re: reccomend usb soundcard and headphones for aerodrums

Re: I would love to see some of the spaces that people play

I’ve found as long as an untreated (no curtains) window is behind the camera I’ve not had a problem..I have mine set up with a glass door behind with no issues..cheers!

Re: Aerobrushes

Nice experience. Are you working with sliding samples with your left hand and hitting samples with the right one? The brushes are just for fun, isn’t it? Hi Wolfgang...yes I recorded my own Snare samples. The left hand is a medium brush sweep which I Trigger from an Element next to the main snare w...

Aerobrushes

Hi..just a quick video showing my experiment with brushes. I used standard drum brushes and attached reflector balls. I recorded my 12x7 birch Snare to create the sample elements.
Definitely a work in progress but a lot of fun :D

Obviously the hand ‘grab’ action is purely cosmetic in many ways but with the right positioning actually feels quite natural and realistic. Oh and I made my own t-shi...
