Re: original drumkits: how many velocities per element?

Today I was listening the hats carefully. There really was 16 levels of openess! The response has always been very nice but I couldn't imagine that it includes that many levels. Major VSTs should have something similar. They usually have only 5 to 7.

Really? Does this mean 8 for tip and 8 for edge or really 16 levels of openess? If the latter must say I'm very impressed. Need to test it more closely.

Re: Aerodrums with Midi

On MIDI Tab in Aerodrums there is a setting called "use the MIDI note scheduler. Tick it to No. I had the same problem and that worked.

BTW, what is this setting for anyway Richard, Yann?

Re: Separate MIDI notes sent when reaching above set velocit

Yes, AD will send two different MIDI notes. In snare head (38) and rim (40), and hats edge (46), bow (26). Of course you can adjust the value e.g. for snare so that "rim hit after 100%" which means it only sends head (38) note no matter how hard you hit.

Big kudos to your effort eagleeyez!
Now this turned to be very interesting. I must say I kind of dropped off the wagon at some point but have you served some information about the health issues of IR light to human eye?

Re: Is a Playstation 3 necessary

Hi, You don't need Playstation3, just the Eye camera. It is very inexpensive (e.g. http://www.amazon.com/Sony-PlayStation-Camera-Bulk-Packaging-Pc/dp/B0072I2240). The camera has a fixed USB cable that you plug to your computer. Circular LED light with USB cable comes with the Aerodrums package. The ...

Re: promo code

slavedave had very good points there. I can say from my viewpoint that I've been following edrum world very accurately over ten past years. The two main inventions in this field during that time are 2Box (open architecture) and Aerodrums IMO. When I first time saw these things in internet more than ...

Re: Has anyone tried it with drumasonic?

Yes, it has full cc range of hihat openess. In Drumasonic it's fairly easy to adjust each openess levels as you want. I don't usually use any particular midi mappings in any VST because almost all of them has ability to "learn" MIDI notes. So has Drumasonic. I don't remember if it worked sraight awa...
